We are proud to release the trailer for ‘The Great Caerphilly Cheese Heist’, the short film created as part of our 2024 skills development program funded by Caerphilly Arts Development, and supported by Screen Alliance Wales, Films at 59, Iris Dive Media, Firebug Lighting, Ask the Grips, IVY Promotions & Photography LTD and Film at USW.
This film was written by aspiring screen writer Doug Austin, and stars 8 up and coming trainee actors, along side local Ledgend John Weldon, known for his iconic roles in The Tuckers, Mammoth, Skins, and many more shows.
This scheme also gave six aspiring creatives paid trainee crew positions in the roles they aspire to work in within the TV and Film industry.
‘The Great Caerphilly Cheese Heist’ will be premiering at the Maxime Cinema in Blackwood on the 9th February.
