Today some of our LCC 2024 trainees attended our training day at the Screen Alliance Wales classroom at Wolf Studios Wales. While on their visit they received a talk from SAW about the TV and Film Industry here in Wales, and the job roles that come as a part of that. They then had a talk from LCC Director Andrew Creak on how to create their own short films, followed by a talk from Violet Rees, a welsh Actor and Supporting Artist, giving them advice on where to find roles as a freelance actor, as well as important admin needed for freelancers such as how to invoice. Finally the team had an interactive writing workshop by LCC Script Development Producer, and writer of our 2023 films Simone Greenwood.
